"It's just some folks say, "All truth is relative, it just depends on what you believe." You know, "hey man, ain't no way to know for sure who God is or what's really true." But that means you believe your own statement; that there's no way to know what's really true. You're saying that that statement is true. You're killing yourself. If what's true for you is true for you and what's true for me is true for me, what if my truth says your's is a lie? Is it still true? Come on man!"

"See, there's this thing called "Secular Humanism", it says man is the source of all meaning and all purposing. You know what i'm saying? We're just the result of a big cosmic explosion. We don't really have a purpose or meaning, so we just come up with our own purpose. We're the source of our meaning and our purpose. How can a man, which is the product of chance, a finite being be the source of purpose and meaning? You can't! You're created with purpose man! Get with The Creator yo!"

"Some people say that God ain't real 'cause they don't see how a good God can exsist with all this evil in the world. If God is real then He should stop all this evil, 'cause He's all-powerful right? What is evil though man? It's anything that's against God. It's anything morally bad or wrong. It's murder, rape, stealing, lying, cheating. But if we want God to stop evil, do we want Him to stop it all or just a little bit of it? If He stops us from doing evil things, what about lying, or what about our evil thoughts? I mean, where do you stop, the murder level, the lying level, or the thinking level? If we want Him to stop evil, we gotta be consistent, we can't just pick and choose. That means you and I would be eliminated right? Because we think evil stuff. If that's true, we should be eliminated! But thanks be to God that Jesus stepped in to save us from our sin! Christ died for all evilness! Repent, turn to Jesus man!"

All I Have Is Christ

I once was lost in darkest night
Yet thought I knew the way
The sin that promised joy and life
Had led me to the grave
I had no hope that You would own
A rebel to Your will
And if You had not loved me first
I would refuse You still

But as I ran my hell-bound race
Indifferent to the cost
You looked upon my helpless state
And led me to the cross
And I beheld God’s love displayed
You bore the wrath reserved for me
Now all I know is grace

Chorus
Hallelujah! All I have is Christ
Hallelujah! Jesus is my life

Now, Lord, I would be Yours alone
And live so all might see
The strength to follow Your commands
Could never come from me
Oh Father, use my ransomed life
In any way You choose
And let my song forever be
My only boast is You

Psalm 150

yay i finally made it to the last pslam in Praise Habit cool stuff. it has only taken me almost a year but hey its all good. psalm 150 is the last psalm in the book of Psalms. it is cool bc the book ends with praising God. and the last phrase is "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord" i love it bc again it is just a call to praise but its cool bc it is the last psalm. it's like at the end of it all, at the end of this life, what is the thing we are supposed to do with our last breath, praise God. i dunno if that has any relevance to the psalm but that is what i thought of when i read it. that we should end our lives praising God. so that is all i have for this last one. u would think i would reflect for a long time but i think this last psalm is just supposed to be simple and to the point. everything praise God. and do it all out. so let us do that as we go thru this life. let us praise His name in everything we do. let our dying breaths be praising the one who gave us life. Father give us the desire to praise your name. the Name above all names. renew our minds and let us remember the great love you have for us. do not let us take lightly your love for us. but give us the ability to love you and praise the name of Jesus in all we do. it is in His name i pray. amen

Psalm 148

if you read this psalm you pretty much get the gist of it. praise God! that is the command of this psalm. so many times we read things like this and just glance over it. we are just like ya ok praise God in everything blah blah blah, i've heard it before. but how many days out of the yr, or for that matter, how many moments out of the day are we living our lives not praising God. not glorifying Him in all we do. you know what is crazy, the Bible calls that sin. anything that we do that is not for the glory of God is out of selfishness and that is sin. hard stuff i know but i was reading that yesterday in this other book i am reading called Pierced by the Word by john piper. he has such insight into the Word of God. another cool way to look at this psalm is just picture all of earth, whether it be humans or inanimate objects all praising Jesus at one time.  i mean that is what we were all created for. was the praise and glorify God. that would be so awesome. just to stand there amongst the creatures of this world and just shout the name of Jesus. wow. i love the picture in the last sentence of this psalm. "He has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all His saints, of Israel, the people close to His heart" we, the elect, the saints, us Christians who have been chosen by God, He holds us close to His heart. how much love is in those few words! dang. Father you are amazing. grant us your church the power and ability to love you, let us not be weighed down by the circumstances of this world, by pressure or affliction or trials, but let us remember that our trials are put there as a test of our faith, to develop perseverance in us that we might grow closer in intimacy with you. i love you Jesus and it is in your name i pray. amen
